We were skiing in Cardrona then we went to Coronet Peak. What we like about Coronet Peak: 1- The front desk staff was a lot nicer than the ones in Cardrona; they were not condescending to begin with. Its front desk staff were all locals unlike in Cardrona, you felt like you were in Asia ; staff who cant speak English clearly; very frustrating at that time.

We were not told about this in Cardrona. It was really fun for kids. Do refer to the pictures below. Conclusion, although, the run nearer at the base was a bit narrow, we would still prefer Coronet Peak to Cardrona for the reasons we listed on “what we like”. If we ever come back to Coronet Peak again we would definitely want to ski for a few more days. HI AisanCountries, Many thanks for the reviews, lots of helpful tips and personal experience points for future guests to digest!

On point 2, in fairness to Cardies, they don’t charge a deposit on their RFID cards so you weren’t being mislead on the cost of the pass. At Coronet Peak we currently charge a card deposit as we find this encourages guests to actively return their Mypass ski ticket at the end of their visit so we can wipe it and re-use it for other guests.
